The FZT automatic machine for tube chain was designed to build and insert elements made from a shaped wire or a plate onto an existing chain. The machine is operated by two spools: a plate spool (alternatively, a half-round or flat wire spool) and a finished-chain spool. The machine cuts the plate into pieces, which are then wound onto the chain and shaped into a tube. The tube is closed and pressed onto the chain with a slight contrast to ensure an axial seal between the element and the chain itself. The distance between a pair of tubes can be set mechanically, while the alternation between pairs of tubes can be programmed electronically.
