Machines for "special" chain production
Automatic chain making machines are referred to as special when the chain construction principle is not comparable to the more common vertical and spiral systems. These consist of dedicated machines specialised in the production of certain types of chains in a specific range of sizes, while at the same time maintaining their particular aesthetic and structural characteristics. They can process round or shaped wires, and can produce chains with no need for welding, thus rendering the production process for a finished chain more immediate.
